January 1941 Headline: Six days without Food
Stranded when their boat was wrecked by heavy seas Guy and Lloyd Van Kirk and Freed Woods recently spent 6 days on Resurrection Cape without food or shelter before being rescued by the Rolph III and returned to Seward. The three were “Somewhat the worse for wear” but not seriously affected by the experience.
